"She looks like me," Carl said as he gazed down at the baby. I was the one struggling in my position.
"Stand up properly," I whispered with a hint of annoyance. "I'm the one having a hard time with your posture," I added.
"I got her lips. See," he said and poked her lips slightly while he was slightly pouting his lips.
"Carl! I'll punch you. You see how dirty your hands are," I threatened.
"I washed them! I even used alcohol," he defended himself. "See, I sanitized it!" He even showed me his palms as if he wanted to prove that his hands were really clean.
I rolled my eyes at him. "Lower your voice! You might wake her up."
He just moved aside and quietly observed her. I couldn't help but notice a few similarities between us. I was happy that she took after me.
