Chapter 71. Fireworks
We exchanged glances and laughed when Amari smiled at us.
"She's one year old now," I happily commented, turning to our child again.
I let her crawl on the fur carpet. I've been trying to put her to sleep earlier, but she didn't want to, so now that it's already midnight, it's only right to greet her.
"She's growing so fast. It's like she wouldn't stop crying before, and now she won't stop unless she's released," said Carl.
I laughed and nodded slightly, agreeing with him.
On this day, we decided to just go out like I initially thought, as there really wouldn't be any food if I were to cook, aside from just Carl and me.
