Tyrone thought little of it, which he proved again. "No thanks." Things got marginally better when he added, "If you'll excuse us, we still have a lot to do today."

Chances were he knew exactly why. Maybe she generally saw me as unsuitable at Tyrone's side, or perhaps she wanted to unsettle and annoy me.
