I had been awake all night because my thoughts were racing and I couldn't get any sleep.

I needed a solution!

Surprisingly, I was pretty fit, but I should have felt the need to sleep by now. But staying awake was sensible because if I wanted to leave, it would be best to do so while my mate was traveling. Then I would have a head start if I fled in exactly the other direction.

Nevertheless, I had to think everything through carefully and set goals. Where exactly I should walk, where do I make stops? The main problem was the final destination because that probably no longer existed. Tyrone could always find me, no matter what hole I was hiding in.

I had just changed my clothes and came out of the closet when there was a knock on the door. I had better get rid of the visitor quickly because a plan had to be drawn up. Without company, it would be much easier.

I heard a key in the lock, so it was either Yasmina or Flynn. Wait and see whether the person e
