Gwen stopped in front of the door and looked at me, which I returned. "Should I say to skip the formalities? Because as queen you would be greeted differently."
I looked at her in absolute horror because I wouldn't have expected something like that for a second. They would greet me nobly, as one would do among the nobility, even though I was a huntress who, until recently, they had viewed as an arch-enemy.
"No, it would be nice if people treated me normally." I wouldn't be able to deal with anything else and it would make me uncomfortable.
She nodded with a smile and replied, "That's what I thought and I'll sort it out."
