Chapter 34
Zea's POV
I spun around and looked into the large wall mirror in front of me. Standing in front of me was a thin, blonde girl, just like she looked eight hundred years ago. No fire, no sparks, no daggers, just an insatiable rage blazing in the blue eyes.
Then I closed my eyes briefly, took a deep breath, and tried to calm myself down. The burning sensation on my back disappeared and I sighed and turned back to my best friend, who had now sat up.
Cole looked at me with a mixture of joy and fascination. I shook my head. Cole couldn't be happy that things with me and Phoenix were finally over.
Then Cole shrugged and leaned against the wall at the head of the bed.
"The way you frequented the pack house, it's no wonder the whole thing didn't last long at all. "You rushed it completely," he said more or less indifferently.
“Still, I feel sorry for you too. Even though he's a werewolf, the whole thing was pretty nice," he said then.
