"Who's next?"

"My turn, my turn!" Noah seemed ecstatic.

"Noah..." Jaesun murmured softly, paying attention to the boy's name on the screen. "Average, seventy-eight percent, passed."

"Yeah, hell yeah!" The boy celebrated, punching the air and making everyone laugh. "I have a future!" He genuinely seemed happy. "Take that, dad!"

"But doesn't your dad live in Japan?" Daniel frowned at him.

"Exactly, but he said I wouldn't even finish high school, let alone have a future and go to college, but look at me now," he raised his eyebrows, enjoying himself.

"What a jerk of a father," Kuan spoke, and this time even Daniel agreed.

"And it's not like you necessarily need to go to college to have a future, it's because I want to, you know? The feeling of proving that I can is great!"
