"Wait... Lucy?" Ryeon still smiled, not understanding anything Woojin had just said, and felt his heart melt, along with the subtle touch that still lingered in his hand.
Lucy's fingers delicately traced over his. Always with delicacy.
"It's so complicated..." the girl whispered, still maintaining her smile. "I'm sorry."
"Sorry? For what?" Ryeon asked, touching her face and longing to touch her even more, to kiss her lips even more. "What do you mean, Lucy?"
"It's not about 'what,' Ryeon. Lucy is me," she said simply. "Just me."
"Are you some kind of character?" he asked, touching her cheek, and saw the girl laugh softly. "Explain it to me, Woojin!"
"No," she stopped laughing, careful with her tone, not wanting to be rude. "I'm not Woojin. I'm Lucy."
