Chapter 11
Walking back home, Ryeon remained lost in thought. He had overheard Lucy's comment about going to Seoul, and instinctively, he felt strange. It briefly crossed his mind that he wouldn't have the person who affected him nearby anymore, as his choices were focused on local universities in Busan. He had never considered going so far away; he wanted to stay close to his mother. But now, knowing that Lucy was going, he feared that everything was truly coming to an end. So he sat at the bus stop, feeling down, sad, and confused, just wanting some clarity amid all the confusion.
"Hi."
Ryeon heard the timid voice and instinctively looked up, feeling his heart beat faster. He took a deep breath. Lucy, still without any answers, smiled and sat down next to Ryeon, unsure, she looked at her own feet.
