Chapter 47

The days were passing by like turtles, moving at their own leisurely pace, and it frustrated Lucy. It was just another day when she got home after eleven PM and, without much choice, mechanically took a shower, sat down at her desk without bothering to eat, and either drew or studied, struggling to stay awake.

"Hey, eat a little." Jaesun appeared there, holding a bowl of soup. "I made it myself, it's not amazing, but it's good."

Lucy smiled, hearing her fiancé humming around the house. Ryeon was also studying, but to not disturb her, he was in the living room. He entered her room with his notebooks and books in hand and saw Lucy tasting Jaesun's soup.

"Is there cabbage in it?" She made a slight face, making them both laugh.

"Just a little, but there's diced pork, carrots, and potatoes. You like it, right?"

Lucy nodded, trying a bit more.

"Thanks, Jaesun."
