Chapter 49

Lucy's steps were hurried.

"Hurry up," she urged Jaesun. He tried to keep up, but with every step Lucy took in front of him, it was as if an extra meter and a half was added.

"Slow down!"

Lucy entered the classroom, coming face to face with the professor. She greeted him and rushed to her usual desk. Jaesun sat next to her.

"We almost missed the test," she said, taking deep breaths.

"Of course, you overslept. Now I'm almost dying. Did you really need to run so much?"

"I had to. We were going to miss the test and fail."

Jaesun sighed.

"Did you study?"

"I tried. I didn't have much time to even hold the book for more than a few minutes. I hope my memory helps me. If I get a low grade, I'll never be able to get into a good company."
