Chapter 52
The sun was gradually illuminating the majority of the room, and Lucy grumbled softly as the brightness bothered her eyes.
"Ryeon, close the curtain," she requested in a muffled voice, her words dampened by the blanket.
"But it's closed, gorgeous. It's just the sun," Ryeon replied.
"We need a new curtain, then," Lucy said, pushing aside the blanket and groaning as she opened her eyes, blinking more than usual to avoid worsening her headache. "What day is it today? Sunday?"
"Friday," Ryeon laughed. Lucy muttered a curse under her breath. She looked at him and saw him wrapped in a towel. "You look like you've been run over. Was it a bad night?"
"Tiring, I'd say."
"You don't need to go to study today. Jaesun will give you the notes later."
"I don't even have time to take any notes," she forced herself to sit up. Ryeon watched
