Chapter 57
The smell of soup wafted through the room. Lucy's stomach growled, and she smiled with contentment as the two large bowls were served on the table.
The rising steam indicated the hot temperature of the meal, but her desire to taste the clear broth with a few floating vegetables was so strong that it hardly mattered. She picked up her spoon, filled it to the brim, and blew on it a bit, feeling the warmth and flavor mix on her tongue.
The sigh her mouth released confirmed how delicious the soup was.
Ryeon did the same. Lucy picked up a small piece of chicken that came with the soup and chewed, memories of her childhood filling her mind and causing her smile to widen.
"Wow, this is so good," Ryeon commented, picking up a small piece of chicken too.
Lucy smiled and filled her spoon with more broth.
The sounds they made while eating always made them laugh like two silly people. Ryeon glanced at the bag and looked at his fiancée.
