Chapter 60

Lucy stared at the cell phone screen and smiled as she saw all her recovered files right there. She was at Yugjae's house, and the friend he had asked to fix Lucy's problem had done it all in five minutes, without even needing to go there. All Lucy had done was give the password and email for the drive that held everything and let him recover it however he could. In that moment, she changed the password and tried to make it as difficult as possible.

"No more birthdays," she said.

"But what about anniversaries? Although... Ryeon and I don't have an anniversary date..."

"No?"

"No. He counts from our first kiss, but that happened when we were just kids. We can't count from the first proposal because I said no, but then I proposed myself, and he accepted, and then... well, we broke up. It's a mess!"

Yugjae laughed, looking at his friend.

"But how do you celebrate?" he asked.
