Chapter 27

It was the seventh day after the surgery. Lucy had just taken a shower and was no longer feeling any pain. She was allowed to sit down slowly and walk when necessary, but that day something more significant was going to happen, and therefore, Lucy anxiety was on edge. It was the day she would have her stitches and mold removed. She would also do her first dilation, and her heart was racing in distress. She wasn't scared, but during group therapy sessions, Lucy heard accounts from trans girls who had already gone through it, and they all reported different experiences. Some felt pain, others felt relief. Some even felt the pressure drop so much out of excitement that they feared fainting!

Lucy wondered how it would be for her. Would she faint? No... she couldn't faint at such an important moment.

She heard a knock on the door and jolted out of her thoughts. Jaesun smiled at Lucy momentary surprise, but Ryeon approached his fiancée as the doctor entered the room.
