“Get up off the floor maggot!” Drake screams at me.

I nod and drag my tired and pained ass up from the ground but continue to look down. Lately, Drake has also taken on the rule of me not being allowed to look at him when he talks to me. Fuck he doesn’t half act like an Alpha at times, I think he may think he is one. I want to laugh at that thought but it’s not worth the pain that it would cause me.

“Omega’s Emily, Abbi, Thomas, and Callum you may now leave for the night, our good old doggy here will finish up the work.” Our top warrior Brian says, giving them the look that they know not to argue with. They all make to leave sending sympathetic looks my way and Callum once more apologizes.

I don’t blame him though it was just an accident and people should be allowed to cause accidents in this goddam place without fear of anyone getting hurt.
