Chapter 36. Teaching Melissa a Lesson

The next morning, Alexander opened his eyes, feeling a familiar weight resting against his body. A content smile spread across his face, knowing exactly who it was. Even though they hadn’t gotten any action done last night, he had still managed to convince her to sleep in his room.

“Victoria? It’s time to wake up, or at least let me get up. I need to arrange for the announcement to make you the official queen,” Alexander said, playing with her hair affectionately.

“Mmmm… Just a few more minutes,” Victoria groaned, hugging him even tighter.

“Okay. But only for a few minutes. After that, you have to let me go, okay?” Alexander said. He closed his eyes, simply enjoying the feeling of her close to him.
