After locking the house, I slid into the passenger seat of Alexander’s Mercedes, and it wasn’t long before we were pulling up in front of the university. Taking my hand in his, he led me toward the entrance gates where our friends were already waiting, ready to head inside for the anniversary celebration.

“Wow! Who is this gorgeous lady standing in front of us? No wonder you said you didn’t want to go dress shopping with us. Who would have guessed you had such a stunning dress hidden in your closet?” Tina said, letting out a loud whistle that made me blush with shyness.
