Chapter 40
Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. Thorn never gets tired of having Cassia as his meal, resulting in Cassia's exhaustion. Since she made the decision to accept her sly husband, she always willingly let him eat her whenever he wanted her. Cassia wasn't complaining, though. It felt good to be eaten, but it was exhausting. Nevertheless, it made her and her husband grow closer.
When the weekend came, Cassia knew that she would surely be a meal again for her husband; thankfully, Thorn's parents came to visit.
Because of her and Thorn's busy schedule, they didn't get a chance to visit—not a busy schedule, more like Thorn was always keeping her busy.
"I'm sorry," Cassia apologized to Thorn's parents. "We don't have visitors."
