After sending his wife to her office, Thorn did not enter his restaurant to work; instead, he started his car again and went to the Hospital where Cassiuz was because that oversized puppy said it was a life-and-death situation. And because he knew Cassiuz got bombed, he didn't think twice about visiting. After all, he was his brother-in-law.

But it was the biggest mistake of his life.

Because the bastard looked okay—no, he was more than okay. Cassiuz was actually lounging on the sofa in one of the fanciest rooms in that hospital, and when he arrived, Cassiuz was eating strawberries like he was on a cozy vacation.
