Chapter 6. Unwind
Instead, Demiel asked him to go to the bar where they usually go whenever they wanted to unwind. Just pure drinking and without women involved.
Demiel gasped, reluctant to bring Klaud with him knowing he was a married man already.
He said, “Wait, are you sure you want to go there?”
Klaud simply nodded.
“Damn it! How about your wife? She’s going to blame me, for heaven’s sake!”
“I’ll explain it to her tomorrow morning.” Klaud replied coldly.
Since he was there as a friend, Demiel has no other choice but to accompany Klaud to the bar. They promised to each other that they would never entertain a woman or else, both of them would be in danger.
By then, Demiel took his key as they headed to the car being parked outside of the gate. It was too late, but no one could ever change their minds anymore.
