Chapter 59. The Last Moment with You

The night has become longer for Dianna. Her heart didn’t beat for a few seconds until she realized who the man behind her. She knew him well. The way he smelled, and a calming warmth he only possessed. 

Her knees were trembling, wondering how he found her new address. She decided to move as soon as she broke up with him. Dianna never wanted to see his face again, but at this moment, she didn’t want to let him go.

“I’m sorry, Dianna.” Klaud spoke in a minimal tone. His deep voice suddenly cracked. “I failed to protect you from this pain.”

Klaud cried in silence and tried to hide his real feelings. He missed her so much that he wanted to have hugged her until the sun rise again. He had waited for this moment, and luckily, he got a chance when Aaron brought her back home.

“I know this is wrong, but please, just let me hug you, Dianna.” Klaud spoke and still Dianna remained calm and silent.
