Chapter 56

Dennis walked into the VIP room and saw Sean sitting alone and drinking. The room was surprisingly quiet.

He walked over to Sean, sat down on the other side of the table, and poured himself a glass of wine. "What happened?"

Sean kept quiet.

Dennis noticed the cut on the corner of his lip and couldn't help but sigh, even though he didn't have to ask what had happened.

After drinking for a while in quiet, Dennis asked, "Is it so hard for you to say that you like her?"

Sean's hand stopped on the wine glass, and he looked up with cold eyes: "What on earth are you talking about?"

"It doesn't matter what I say as much as what you think. You say you hate your wife, but everything you do for her shows that you really like her."

"Nothing."

"Why do you then let people follow Kyle?"

After a while, Sean said in a casual tone, "She tried to get a divorce from me so she could marry into the Beltran family. Do you think I'll let her have this chance?"
