Chapter 24. Preparation for the Furlords

Sunny’s POV

“And who is that man, huh?” I almost jumped from where I was standing when dad suddenly appeared as soon as I opened our door. 

“D-Dad! You startled me!” 

He narrowed his eyes at me, “Is that your boyfriend? No, that’s not him. Then who was that, Sunny? Don’t tell me you’re having two boyfriends at the same time? Oh Sunny! I didn’t raise you to be like that!!”

“Dad, that was Jared.” I said as I began walking inside, going straight to the kitchen. 

“J-Jared? Who’s Jared?”

I first washed my hands before putting the ingredients in the sink to wash them. “Jared Knight.”

“Jared Knight? You mean that dude that sings like a goat on T.V?!”

“Uh-huh.”
