I watched Ryder and them leave until they were out of sight.

I blinked my eyes and turned my head to find a furious gaze on me.

“I heard that you have been trying to help my son, Ryder, to remember that thing in there,” she hissed and took a step forward.

I quickly stepped back, my face frozen instantly. “I… My queen, I was just trying to help him recall his memory,” I stuttered, not sure how to react to her sudden words.

“By taking him to the garden?” She narrowed her eyes sharply, her lips curling into a tight line that sent shivers down my spine.

I sucked in the air immediately to calm myself. “It was just to help him gain back his memories,”

She raised her chin, her face hardened. “Did I ask for your help?”

I raised my brow, confused.

She clicked her tongue and then snarled. “What did you say to him when he asked you about her in his room?”

My mind quickly shifted back to our conversation with him and W
