Chapter 109. My Body Rejects Her Touch

Ryder POV

I paced back and forth in front of the hospital room. My heart beat faster. Logan was sitting on the chair beside me, his eyes fixed on me.

I don’t know what’s going through his head but somehow my body feels restless. I know I shouldn’t be found worrying like this for a she-wolf but I just couldn’t help it.

I instructed Logan to take me to the garden to know if he could help me with my memories and just a few steps into the garden, that sweet familiar scent wafted into my nostrils. It was hard to resist so I had to follow the scent and then, just in time, she fell off the guava tree.

It happened so fast and the next thing, I found her in my arms. My name was the last thing she called before she slipped into an unconscious state.
