Jasper POV
I stood at the window of my pack building, my hands clasped behind me, gazing out at the bustling courtyard below.
My keen sight took in my pack members going about their duties, their laughter, and murmurs carrying on the wind. The whole place was noisy and busy, filled with people. Normally, neighboring packs came to purchase goods from us, so it was always like this.
As the largest pack among the werewolves, they often needed my assistance with certain matters.
I smirked at the thought, my gaze wandering as I watched a group of my patrol guards, vigilant in case of danger.
But somehow, my mind wasn’t focused on the busy area before me. I was preoccupied with thoughts of Nina.
How to get her back on my side was something I seemed clueless about.
How do I go about it? I didn’t even know how she was doing over there. If she was happy, I had no idea.
