“What is it that I am hearing?” I barked out, spunning around with so much anger.

Logan saw him?!

“I am sorry, my Aethera,” Kaelin Cassius knelt immediately in front of me with his head lowered and his two hands clasped behind him. “I am sorry, but he bumped into me. It was sudden,” he explained.

I glanced at Nessa and then back to him.

“Did he say your face?”

He swallowed and moved his head slowly. “Yes,”

I ran my hand instantly through my hair, combing it backward in frustration. “Damnit!!” I clenched my teeth and tore my gaze away from him.

My jaw was drawn in a tight line.

This is damn fucking wrong.

They are now going to know that he is in this castle. They would start looking for him, and then what do I do?

I chewed my nails nervously, my fingers trembling as my mind wandered off.
