“Cut to the chase!” Ryder barked out, slamming his fists on his desk. “Which damn problem? I don’t give a fuck about your movement,”

I swallowed. William has a faint smile on his face.

I looked away from him. “A wizard is roaming in this castle unnoticed.” I trailed my hands on my injured shoulder. “I noticed that he was after someone but the moment he saw that I had seen him. We got into a fight,”

There was a stunned silence before William let out a sardonic laugh.

“What type of fabricated story is this?”

I shot him a stern look but he just shook his head.

“You can do better, Logan. Don’t try to divert our attention from the rogues,”
