Chapter 82. Long and Stressful

My heart was beating so fast the moment I reached his office. I tried to enter but the guard there said that he was no longer in his office, he just left.

I asked him where he left but he refused to utter any word. I pleaded for what felt like a few minutes before he said something like in the garden. I didn’t allow him to finish and I rushed off, running toward the place.

The more I run, the more my heart breaks. I am tired, it hurts to part ways but I had to.

I’d be wasting my time here. And my people would end up hating me, so it’s best that I leave.
