Chapter 25

Now, the nights are no longer a beautiful time to rest. Currently, Cassa is carrying Lukas, trying to convince him not to cry, but instead of the tears subsiding, the child continues to cry with all his might.

Cassa is very certain that the bond between parents and children is real, proven by Cassa’s difficulty in taking care of Lukas even though it has only been a few days since they were together at home.

However, Lukas appears to be very uncomfortable with Cassa’s presence. Lukas seems to want to meet his biological parents.

“My love, please don’t cry anymore. Mom is giving you milk, but why don’t you want to stay quiet at all? Are you sick?” Cassa asks, speaking to Lukas who is still faithfully in her embrace.

Alano, realizing that Cassa is not beside him, immediately wakes up from his sleep and searches for his wife. The sound of Lukas’ crying can be heard clearly in the quiet night, making Alano restless as he approaches Cassa in Lukas’ room.
