Charles, realizing Dawson was not beside him when he woke up, immediately ran towards Maria’s room to check on their son’s whereabouts. However, there were no signs of Dawson being in the room with Maria. Naturally, this made him worried, and he searched every corner of the house for Dawson.

“Dawson, where are you? It’s still night, why aren’t you in your room?” Charles asked, incessantly walking around and inspecting every room in the house.

Maria, who was awakened by Charles’ loud voice, felt disturbed. She blinked her eyes a few times and tried to understand what was happening in the house.
