Chapter 9

Cassa and Alano have been living their married life for a few months now, and Cassa’s belly is starting to show. Yes, she is already 6 months pregnant, and she will give birth soon. However, nothing has changed for Cassa; she is still very anxious about her pregnancy.

“What if this child is born? How do I tell my son who his real father is?” Cassa asked herself while looking at herself in the mirror. The fear of her baby’s identity makes Cassa frustrated with herself. She is still ashamed to tell Delbert the truth, even though she has met her ex-boyfriend several times.

“Oh, how can I hide this for a lifetime? Doesn’t my son have the right to know about his father? And what about Delbert, who is different, will my son be like him too?” Cassa worries about her child’s future, imaging if her child is not normal like Delbert, which disappoints her.

While Cassa is lost in thought, her phone rings, startling her. Cassa quickly grabs her phone from the table.
