Again, he nodded in response to what I said, which I was completely annoyed with.

“Are we in trouble, Magnus?” I tried to calm my voice even though the truth was that there was a trace of irritation there.

“Problem, there is. We, we don’t.” My eyes widened when he said that. I’m sure my forehead is furrowed too. He didn’t even look at me when he said that.

“W-what?!” I asked, because I could not understand what he said, as if I were deaf when he said that, as if he had to repeat it again for me to understand.
