Chapter 24

After I calmed myself down in the bathroom, I replaced my wet bath kimono with the bath towels in the bathroom. Then I wash my hands and turn on the sink faucet, wetting my face with the water that flows from it. 

I looked at my eyes, which looked puffy from my crying, with a sad face, then I shook my head and wiped my face with a small towel near the sink. I opened the bathroom door that I had closed earlier and I almost jumped when I saw Dominik, who was now back wearing the pajamas I had taken off and standing right in front of me.

“Leah… what’s wrong?”

I ignored his question earlier and walked past him. I let my feet continue to walk until I arrived in front of the hotel room window. From here, I can see the night sky filled with stars, but I did not find the full moon tonight. 

Even though the calendar had told me it should be a full moon tonight, I leaned my head against the window, playing with my fingers on the glass.
