Chapter 32

As soon as the clock showed 6 p.m., I immediately tidied up all the documents I completed the day. 

I glanced around the room and saw Patricia was currently busy doing her tasks, followed by a new assignment given by Dominik. 

Meanwhile, Norman and some of my other colleagues, including Shelly, discussed plans for a press conference that our company will hold next month. 

Some of my colleagues had already gone home, and the ones in this room seemed to be working overtime today.

I returned my gaze to my desk and turned off my computer screen. As I grabbed my bag and got ready to leave, I felt the smartphone in my bag vibrate. 

I took my smartphone from my bag and saw the name of the person calling me on the screen.

I picked up the phone. “Hello?”

“I’m already in the lobby,” said Harris.
