Judy’s POV

We received a message from the dark pack inviting us for a meeting. They told us not to forget about our own part of the deal. I was shocked and angry. How could they send us a message like this? We had already done our part, and now they were asking us to join them fight an upcoming battle unknown to us. I couldn’t let them get away with it.

We gathered our most trusted pack members and we set out for the meeting. As we arrived at the meeting place, I could see the dark pack members waiting for us. They looked smug and confident, as if they had already won.

Tommy stepped forward and confronted them. “What is the meaning of this?” He demanded. “We had a deal, and we have paid you for it, now you’re demanding us to join you and fight a battle unknown to us?”

The dark pack leader sneered at me. “Your money was only temporary,” he said. “We gave you the terms and conditions involved in our deal, and you gladly signed to it.”
