Damien’s POV

The journey to the Ancient pack had been long and arduous, but it was worth it. We had returned to our pack with a newfound strength and knowledge that we believed would help us become better leaders. However, as we entered the clearing of our pack, we were met with the most horrific sight.

Our pack had been attacked. The once lively clearing was now filled with chaos and despair. Blood and debris were scattered everywhere. Members of our pack were injured or dead. My heart sank as I realized that we had failed to protect our pack from the Dark pack’s wrath.
