Chapter 75
Sandy’s POV
Sirens wailed in the distance, echoing through the forest. A cacophony of snarls, growls, and howls filled the air. I ran toward the source of the commotion, heart pounding in my chest. The pack’s territory lay in ruins before me, smoke rising from the charred remains of our den. My breath caught in my throat as I saw the carnage that lay before me.
The chaos was all-consuming, and I felt helpless as I looked around at the destruction wrought by the Dark Pack. The scent of blood was thick in the air, and I could see the fear and pain etched on the faces of my pack members.
“Luna,” I cried out, rushing to her side. Blaze was already there, cradling her in his arms as tears streamed down his face. I could see that she was unconscious, and my heart sank. Luna was one of the backbone of our pack, and without her, we were lost.
Blaze was hunched over Luna’s still form, sobbing. Jackson lay sprawled out on the ground, his eyes staring blankly up
