Chapter 78. Girls Night

Elsie's POV

"Hey, Elsie?" 

I was stopped by the call of my name as I left Gracie's room after putting her to bed. Bonnie stood in the hallway, her body language appeared timid, which I hadn't noticed before.

"Bonnie," I smiled "What's up?"

"I wanted to thank you," Bonnie paused, and I noticed she was hiding one hand behind her back "I spoke to Theo and he told me you asked him to let me stay,"

"I did," I replied with a swift nod "It's only fair, I couldn't see you being on your own with Rory about,"

Bonnie's eyes dropped to the floor, and her cheeks began to flush slightly "I got you these as thanks," removing her hand from behind her back, I noticed Bonnie produce a small bunch of flowers. I instantly recognised them from the trails I followed in the forest sometimes.
