Chapter 80. Worse Than Children

Theo's POV

I paced up and down the conservatory, eagerly waiting for Elsie to return home. 

Kai and Oris had gone to bed, and I don't know how they could sleep easily knowing our mate was out there, unprotected amongst the gaggle of drunken men.

My chest became heavy with each breath I took, and I felt worry fill me. What if Elsie was in danger? What if Bonnie had turned on her while she was away from the Pack?

So many idiotic questions entered my mind. If Elsie was in danger, my brothers and I would have sensed it within an instant.

"Stop being such an idiot," I told myself.

"Your panic and worry is boring me," Brutus replied quickly "Keep your thoughts down, some of us are trying to sleep,"

I didn't respond to my wolf, knowing how cranky he became when he didn't get his rest. I looked at my watch, it was nearly 1am. Why weren't they home yet?
