Chapter 122. Firstborn

Jennifer’s POV

Today is the day to my application for the Nationals. I have mixed feelings of being nervous and excited at the same time. I woke up so early today so that I could go to the field and practice my aim there. I know coach Mendez was already there. She was always with me while I was warming myself up.

Time flies so fast and I finished practicing. I went back home to get everything prepared tonight. Bob should be at home because when I left earlier he was still sleeping. I left a message to him saying that I’m in practice and I didn’t want to disturb him sleeping and that I will be home later.

I parked my car in front of an apartment complex and turned off the engine. I made my way to the front door of our apartment and opened it with my spare keys. I heard some voices coming from the living room while I went inside. I walked straight into the living room and my brother was there with Gerald and Bob who were sitting on the couch while talking.
