Chapter 139. The Race

Jennifer’s POV

Bob and I decided to leave the beach house and drove to the town. It took us a few minutes to get there because of the heavy traffic and there were a lot of people on the streets.

The car came to a stop light after we arrived in a crowded town with so many cars and loud music from everywhere we went.

Bob parked his car next to the other cars that had people around them. I saw some girls sitting on men’s lap that made my cheek blush.

We got out of the car and Bob immediately grabbed my hand. Once everyone saw who we were, they recognized us and their eyes widened and I saw some of them gave him a respectful nod.

I guess they really know who he is.

We walked through many people who were talking and some of them were dancing to the loud music while they gave us a space so we could walk passed.
