Chapter 52. Move In

Jennifer’s POV

A few minutes passed, Bob and I decided to leave her and I already said bye to my mom.

“So, since when did your parents buy the houses? You didn’t tell me about that,” I asked once we got outside of the room and went to the elevator.

“No, they’re just safe houses for our family and friends,” he explained and I nodded. “They bought them actually for them, but I know Mom would be mad at me if she knew I didn’t help you,” he added.

“Are you sure about that? Would your parents don’t mind?” I asked because I am confused. Bob turned his head towards me and cupped my face.

“Like I said, love. My mom would kill me if she knew that I didn’t offer your family that safe house,” she said and kissed me.

I nodded. “O-okay, so let’s go home,” he said and smiled at me. We went inside the elevator and went down. We walked to the parking lot where his car was parked and drove to Bob’s house.
