Chapter 54. Erika
Jennifer’s POV
“Can we talk?” Erika asked while I was about to put down my bow and wanted to get out of the facility.
“About what?” I monotonously asked.
“Just what happened to us,” she said and she sat in front of me while I put down my bow.
“We don’t need to talk. You already said what you said,” I put down my shoes and grabbed my stuff. I stood up and was about to walk away when she pulled me back to her by grabbing my arm.
“Jennifer, I know we had something in the past. That’s why I want to talk about this. I just want our friendship back, I just want us back,” she cried. I turned around to face her and saw she was crying.
“It’s been years. Forget about it. And don’t be offended. There is no ‘us’ anymore. You already showed me what I meant to you. So, can you please stop crying and stop bothering me,” I yelled and pulled my arm away from her. I walked out of the facility and saw coach Mendez walk towards me.
