Chapter 51. A Suggestion

Jennifer’s POV

“Jen?”

“Do you want something to eat?”

“Jennifer?”

“Huh? What? W-what did you say?” I ask confusingly. I looked at Aaliyah who was with me in the library.

“Are you okay? What is going on with you?” She asked.

“N-nothing…”

“You’ve been acting really weird today,” she said.

“Y-yah, I’m sorry. I just can’t focus. I’ve been really busy and stressed too,” I explained to her and sighed. I rubbed my face with my hands.

“Are you sure? Do you want to talk about it?” She asked and I shook my head. I know she wouldn’t understand anything so I will keep this to myself.

“Well, if you need someone to talk to, don’t forget that I’m always here,” she suggested and stroked my arm up. I gave her a weak smile.
