Chapter 58. Dress

Jennifer’s POV

[Flashback]

“Mommy, Mommy, look!” I called for my mom who was sitting on our backyard while holding a bottle of liquor in her hands.

She placed the bottle of liquor beside her and cleared her throat while turning around and facing me.

“Hi, sweetheart,” she said as she came towards me. Once she reached me she crouched down to my height and picked me up. “You are getting bigger than I thought. How is my little girl doing?” She asked and kissed my cheek. It makes me giggle.

“Mommy, I’m good. Look what daddy bought me,” I exclaimed while looking down at my pretty dress.

“Wow, that’s nice! You look so pretty in that dress, sweetheart. Like a princess from Disneyland,” I giggled while she was tickling me.

“Mommy, stop. My tummy hurts,” I laughed and he stopped tickling me.

She put me down and we walked up to where she was seated lately. She sat down while I sat on her lap.

“Sweetheart,” she began and stared at me.
