I watched Aria carefully as Lauren spoke to her, noticing every subtle movement of her little body, every flicker of emotion across her delicate features. Her eyes were wide and attentive, her little hands resting beside her as she listened to her mother’s words. I wasn’t expecting much reaction from her because she was still very young.
