"Gareta, bring warm drinks for my father and mother," Ivy commanded, smiling at Gareta.
"Of course, young lady," Gareta responded while nodding obediently.
After Gareta left, Mrs. Liana immediately stood up and harshly pulled Ivy's hair. Ivy didn't scream, only hissed as she felt her scalp hurting. "Why are you still alive? You should be dead by now!" Mrs. Liana exclaimed.
"It hurts, Mother," Ivy replied, not responding to her mother's statement.
"Be careful, Liana! There are many guards here," Mr. Marionet warned his wife.
Mrs. Liana glanced briefly at her husband and then released her grip on Ivy's hair. Mrs. Liana then snorted in annoyance while staring fiercely at Ivy.
