It hurts.

For real, it really hurts.

I’ve been asking Ryder for the truth this whole time, but he never gives me a straight answer. He always pushes the matter away, telling me he doesn’t want to talk about it or that he’ll tell me when the time is right. Why is he hiding it from me? What’s there to hide?

It’s not his fault, though. Our relationship only started as an arrangement. He never told me he didn’t have a wife, right? He never lied to me about not having a wife.
